What Being a Caregiver Means to Me:

As a caregiver, I have learned that my job is not just about providing physical care but also emotional support to those in need. Coming from the Dominican Republic, family was always the center of my life.

One of the most influential figures in my life has been my mother. She taught me that anything is possible if you are determined enough. Those words have stayed with me throughout my life and have helped me overcome many obstacles. I am grateful to have a job that allows me to help others. Knowing I am making a difference in someone’s life brings me joy.

A Challenge I Sometimes Face:

Of course, like any job, there are challenges. One of my most considerable difficulties was keeping up with appointments for my patients. However, with time and experience, I have become a professional and have learned to manage my time more effectively.

An Interesting Story I Had:

One of the most remarkable stories I have from my time as a caregiver was the first time I went to a patient’s home. They welcomed me with a huge hug as soon as I entered the door. It was heartwarming to see how much they appreciated my presence.

Why I love to work with White Glove:

I am proud to work for White Glove, a company that values its employees and their work. I came across their sign on the street and decided to apply. Since then, I have been impressed with the friendliness of all the coordinators, especially mine, Claudia.

A Message to White Glove Caregivers:

Love what you do. It may not always be easy, but your impact on someone’s life is immeasurable. Remember why you chose this profession, and let that motivate you to continue. Being a caregiver is more than just a job. It is a calling. It takes a special kind of person to do what we do, and I am proud to be a part of this profession. If we approach our work with compassion and dedication, we can make a difference in the lives of those we care for.
